On September 13, 2025, the joint (tenants and owners) BBQ took place and was a success. A total of 130 residents attended, including 17 children. Photos were taken, but for privacy reasons, the Board cannot publish them without permission. If you attended the BBQ, please let us know if you object to publication.
The annual General Meeting of the Residents' Association De Hoge Heren took place on June 3, 2025. Attendance was – once again – disappointing.
On February 11, 2025, there was a walk-in meeting about the redesign of the inner garden (5th floor) and in particular about the design of the play area for children. The turnout was disappointing!
On January 18, 2025, the residents of De Hoge Heren said goodbye to Maria (a member of the cleaning team). Maria has retired.
The group De Hoge Dames meet regularly. We have a drink and a chat together and according to the participants it is always fun. If you are interested in De Hoge Dames, you can reach them via bestuur@dehogeheren.nl.

Marion Moleveld has decided to resign as secretary/treasurer of the residents' association. We thank her for her dedication and commitment during this period. The Board is pleased to announce that Mr. René von Weyhrother has agreed to take over Marion's role as treasurer. René will fill this position on an interim basis until the General Members' Meeting (GMM) in the spring of 2026, where he will formally be a candidate for appointment to the board. Guus Jacobs will fill the position of secretary. If you agree with the board's change of treasurer, you do not need to take any further action. If you have any objections to the proposal, please inform us no later than October 15, 2025, either by email to bestuur@dehogeheren.nl or in writing to the mailbox at Gedempte Zalmhaven 55.
As of August 1, 2025, Guus Jacobs will take on the role of acting chairman at the request of Sharon Laforêt, chairman. Sharon is currently unable to combine her role as chairman with her demanding job. It has been agreed that Guus Jacobs will act as acting chairman until the next General Members' Meeting (GMM). The GMM will take place in March or April 2026.
IMPORTANT: Complaint handling
It is really important for you as a tenant that you register your complaints with My Vesteda under - Contact New contact/Complaint. A different procedure applies to owners in tower A.
Complaints are officially registered with VESTEDA in this way, and the Board of the Residents' Association uses these official complaints as input for regular discussions with VESTEDA. While the building manager is the right person to address fellow residents, they are not responsible for registering complaints; you, as a tenant, must do that yourself!
Settlement of servicebijdragen 2023 en 2024 Service contribution settlement for 2023 and 2024 for tenants. After many questions and corrections (in favor of the tenants), the board (Guus Jacobs) has approved the service contribution settlement for 2023 and 2024. Payment for 2024 has already been made, and 2023 is coming up.
The municipality has announced that the indoor waste containers will be replaced by underground waste containers at various locations on the street. All residents have been informed of this by letter and draft decision. Objections have now been filed with the Council of State (RvS). It is expected that this will cause the necessary delay. It is not known when the indoor containers will be discontinued and we will therefore only be able to dispose of our waste outside on the street.
